Alaska Upgrade to First Class can only be requested by the Elite Status level within the upgrade window time, or by the time of booking. Once you're on the First Class upgrade waitlist, and within the upgrade period, the airline will determine the number of seats available in First Class. Alaska Airlines First Class upgrade request will be considered until one hour before the scheduled departure.

The Fare classes are cleared in the order listed below: the following order: Y, B, K, M, L V, S, N, Q, O, G, and T. Server Fares cannot be qualified for First Class upgrade.
